Today I’d like to show you my version of the Schoolhouse Tunic by Sew Liberated.
The pattern is quite simple and it doesn’t really matter that the introduction is not as big as I’m used to since I work with Indie Patterns. There are no darts and nothing else challenging within this Tunic – I would say it’s perfect for beginners!
For me, this pattern was perfect to get familiar with my new serger (wuhuuuu!) My husband bought this for HIS birthday, because he loves it to see me happy. 🙂
Except of to or three seams I stiched the whole thing with the serger. It’s reallly quick – I only needed 3 hours cutting included. Wow, this pattern should really come with a guarentee for success!
Now I’m totally in love with this pattern.
I think I’ll sew it again with a cosy wool and an extra length of 5cm to have a lovely winter dress.
And I’m sure I can do this in 2.5 hours 😉
